Walkfit Platinum Orthotics Reviews
This is the best product I've tried for heel pain. I have been to a foot doctor and had custom made inserts but was still in severe pain. On a last chance before seeing the doctor for surgary, I decided to take a risk and try these inserts. I can say that in one week I was almost totally without pain. I recomend you try these before you spend hundreds at a foot doctor.

You definitely have to go through the break-in period, but once you do, they're totally worth it. They definitely helped correct my stride, which helped with my knee, hip, and foot pain.

My husband had to have these particular orthotics months ago. The Walkfit PLATINUM. He had heard about them from a colleague at work and he stands most of the day. He broke it in for almost 2 hours (they say one hour)but we forgot as we were in Solvang that day. He wont go without them - anywhere. I now had to order another pair (and size 13 M is hard to find - so you wont find them in any retail store..I called and shopped for them all over!) I now just ordered my size and got them in two days since my size is a bit more regular I guess. You WILL NOT go elsewhere for comfort and durability. Note: He wanted me to order another pair not because they would wear out soon but he loves these so much he didnt want to take the chance of them not making them anymore. Which I could not imagine!

These orthotics feel good and as long as they stay in place, I'm happy. The problem happens when I walk on down grades. The orthotics in my right shoe work fine but the left shoe set starts to work it's way towards the front of tbe shoe. I haven't figured out a fix, but when I do, I'll bump this review up to 5 stars. They really are great.

I suffered for over a year with plantar fasciitis.Every step was painful.I am on my feet in work and play and this threatened my way of life.I spoke with my medical doctor, chiropractor and people who specialize in custom footwear.People sold me their products but nothing helped.I saw an infomercial for the walkfit insoles and decided to try them. They were one third the price of other insoles I had purchased. These insole solved my problem and then some!I am better than ever on my feet.I am 50 years old and apparently my arches had fallen and I needed the extra support in that area. This is common for people that age.Since using the walkfit ortotics my feet, knees and back;even my neck give me less/no trouble. This is a well made durable product. They are a bit uncomfortable when you first start wearing them but it soon passes. If you have plantar faciitis, problems with your knees or back try these!

I've been using the Walk-Fit Orthotics for years, and in my experience they do everything they claim to do. I have flat feet that I pound around on with a force of about 600 lbs/sq ft (if I'm doing the math correctly). Even on unforgiving concrete floors, they save my feet from a lot of abuse, aligning the bones properly and providing good support. They distribute the pressure the way it's supposed to be, and keep my feet from being so tired and sore at the end of the day that I can't walk. The new "Platinum" design, with the heel cup doesn't seem to make a difference - I never had any complaints before - but the price is roughly the same. Walk-Fit Orthotics really make a difference, and are much more reasonably priced than the "custom" orthotics available at the specialty chain store. I highly recommend this product for anyone who suffers from flat feet or fallen arches, or who spends a lot of time on their feet and finds their feet are so sore and tired after a long day that...

I purchased these here several years ago and now need replacements. I purchased a new pair again for the fast shipping to replace my broken pair and planned on sending the old ones back. I called the company (WALKFITplatinum.com) to verify the warranty specifics, return address, and fees. FYI, the replacement warranty only applies if you purchased directly from the company. They will request an account number which they say is given at the time of purchase. You may notice the lifetime replacement warranty as posted on their website does not mention this and is vague with detailed instructions. I was informed it is the only way they can send you a replacement pair. I would recommend simply buying another pair to avoid the hassle and frustration of speaking with their customer service reps. Perhaps someone else has had better luck with this aspect.

I have worn versions of these for many years now, and they work well for me. I have long narrow feet with a high instep and for casual oxford and training style shoes these make for a significant improvement in fit and overall comfort. I never had a problem becoming accustomed to the extra support but I don't t wear this type of shoe everyday, and I guess my high arched feet probably also help. My significant disappointment is that over time this product has become increasingly complex, and I believe less useful to me. My original "Walkfits" were just a sturdy well made plastic arch support without all the inserts and interchangeable parts. Put them in your shoes and go. They lasted just about forever. I still have a pair that I use in a pair of seasonal boots that are probably 12+ years old, and function as new. This latest version with all the customizable replacement bits is to me overly complex and very wasteful. I went directly to the "highest lift" inserts...

The feeling of the insoles were not what I was use to (Dr. Scholls gel pads or the shoe cushions) since its completely rubber and suppose to shape your feet a certain way when you walk. To put them in, you have to take out the insoles that your shoes come with in order to put these in so that your feet don't get all squished. Day 1: Initially when I put on my shoes, it felt sort of hard having replaced what was left of the shoe cushion with this rubber insole. I was worried at first, but I decided to go for it and try it on my 5 hour work shift at the coffee shop in which I stand the entire time. I have flat feet so usually by the end of the shift my feet are in a bit of pain to where I put on slippers when i get home rather than walk bare foot for at least an hour until the pain goes away (by the way my work shoes have Dr. Scholls pads). With the walkfits, there was not pain although, I accidentally used the "massage pads" (which have bumps on them rather than smooth)...

I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical but desperate. I somehow injured the ball of my foot--doctor said it was sesamoiditis. I have had pain and abnormal gait for 6 months. I tried everything from acupuncture and natural anti-inflammatory injections, to chiropractic adjustments, to finally cortisone. Nothing helped beyond momentary relief. My knees began to hurt because of walking favoring my feet all the time. I tried all kinds of insoles and finally saw these advertised on TV. I decided to give them a try. My stance is greatly improved; I feel much more stable on my feet while wearing them. They do take some time to get used to, but not nearly as much as I anticipated. I have medium arches and use the lowest insert. I am 67 and female, so the insoles don't fit all shoes, but having entered the "season of sensible shoes," I use them in all shoes they will fit. I also added moleskin padding to take pressure off the sore spots, and in combination with the insoles, I...

I ordered my walkfits about a month and a half ago and it has made a huge difference in my life. I have a condition called planter faciitis, which causes severe pain in the bottom of my feet. Since I have been wearing the walk fits they have made a huge difference. My feet can be killing me in my bare feet or another pair of shoes, and I can put my shoes on that I wear my insoles in and within minutes my feet quit hurting. It did take about a week or so to get used to wearing them. It takes some time to get your feet used to the change, but once you get used to them you don't want to go without them. I wish I had a pair for every pair of shoes I own. I was also getting severe shin splints when I would walk, as in walking on the treadmill, but they have also stopped the shin splints. They have made a world of difference. There is one thing that I have to say though, the difference in the highth of the soles made my toes rub against the end of my shoes and bruised a couple of my toe...

I got the original Phase4 Orthotics a number of years ago via their infomercial and loved them. I tried a number of different orthotics, including those $50 Dr. Scholls at their fancy FootMapping Centers. Without support, I have a tendency to wear down the outside of the soles of my shoes. None of them resolved this behavior except for the Phase4. Once my Phase4's wore out, I went to look to buy another pair, but found that they changed their name to Walkfit. These Walkfit Platinums are the same design, but even better, with the adjustable arch supports and padded heel. It does take a little bit to get used to them, because they do realign you to "proper" posture. I had some pain in my knees for the first couple days of wearing them, but that subsided and now they are oh-so-comfortable. Manufacturer's suggestion is to wear them for a couple hours the first day, and gradually work it up to wearing them all day. This is probably a good idea for...

They relieve the discomfort in my arches and has improved my way of walking without discomfort. It took several days to get use to them. I would not trade them for any other kind. If you got to a specialist you will pay more than ten times the cost.

I was diagnosed with a wickedly painful case of plantar fasciitis, and heel-bone spurs in both feet the summer of 2010, following cancer surgery and cancer treatment. The year before, I had been walking 3-4 miles a day, five days a week and suddenly couldn't take a single step without excruciating pain. (Still believe the cancer treatments compromised my bones.) Anyway, I saw a podiatrist who tried cortisone shots, taped feet, physical therapy, and finally rigid, custom-made orthotics. Nothing helped. And I mean NOTHING! About 3 weeks after I got my custom orthotics (VERY expensive!!) I saw an infomercial for Walk-Fit orthotics and was desperate enough to call and order. I had NEVER ordered from an informercial before and never planned to, so I was surprised it wasn't a hassle in any way. (I don't trust much on T.V!) I received my first Walk-Fit orthotics within a few weeks, and it just took a few days to a week to adjust to them. I have never been without these in any pair of shoes...

Only reason for four stars is that the break in period is longer for me than what they predict. Otherwise I like the support of these orthotics.

If you have plantar fasciitis, try these! I was amazed. I wore them just an hour or two the first couple of days, and yes, there is definitely a break in period. They would feel great, then kind of start hurting, but the packaging tells you to expect this. I was eventually able to wear them for longer hours, and now when I wear them, I do so for 4-6 hours. After the first week of off and on wearing them (you can't wear them in certain shoes), I wasn't having the pain and difficulty walking in the morning due to the plantar fasciitis. I couldn't believe it! I had tried cortisone shots in my heels, and other orthotics that wear way more expensive and nothing helped as quickly as these. I'm not sure how long these will last, but at $20 bucks, its a lot cheaper than my doctor and the other orthotics. I don't have a lot of back pain, so not sure if it helps that or not.

These are so amazing I don't know the price keeps getting lowered! These style insoles usually go for hundreds of dollars. I found these when I was working 8 hour days at target on the hard floor. I already have problems with my knees and circulation problems with my feet so it became torturous to work after the first hour and a half. At first when I tried these, they hurt worst. You really have to read the directions... I had been walking improperly with my high arches for 20 years but I followed the directions, only wearing them for short periods of time at first and readjusting my feet or sliding them off at break time and after about two weeks of doing this, it began to not hurt wearing them. Then I realized I could actually walk around, run, and be active after work, which I could never manage to do before because it was just too painful. It seems like they have realigned my knees and ankles to walk properly upright! Who knew! Give these insoles some time and after a while you...

I have bunions and my feet pronate (roll in). I ordered these in size C (women's size 7) even though per inches I measure as a 6, I always wear size 7 shoes, primarily for the width (given my bunions) and after having children my feet are bigger. I wore these for a few days and had to take them off after some time. I know now that is because I had them on wrong. It is super important to align them just right on the feet. You will know when they are aligned just right. As soon as I put aligned the arch up correctly, I stood up and I felt my body align as advertised in the info-mercials for this product. Before that I was wearing them with the arch too far forward on my foot. It almost felt like I had the orthotics on the wrong feet because the arch was too far to the outer edge under my feet. Now that I have them aligned, I feel a little bit of muscle fatigue in the arch of each foot, but I don't have that painful feeling that comes from incorrectly positioning the orthotic...

I have worn Alznner orthotics (same as those sold by the Good Feet Stores) for 15 years. They saved me from debilitating plantar fasciitis pain. For those 15 years I have been nearly pain free. Like any effective orthotic, there was an adjustment period which lasted several weeks. That is normal and to be expected. However, this review is about Walkfit Platinum Orthotics not Alznner Orthotics. I have found the Walkfits to be just as effective as the expensive orthotics I have worn for so many years. I purchased them as a trial because I wanted the convenience of having them in each pair of my regularly-worn shoes, yet I did not want to pay the high cost of other orthotics. The list price of the Alznner orthotic is $289. You can find similar orthotics from $49 to $300. For less than $10 (including shipping) Walkfits seemed like a steal - if they did the job as advertised. I tested the Walkfits thoroughly in several different pairs of shoes and one pair...

I used other inserts and they wore out in a month. Had to keep replacing. Walk Fits I have had for a year now in my work boots, and are still going strong. Gives comfort better than any other insert I tried.

These orthotics are very comfortable. My lower back fells better with these in my tennis hoes and boots. And the price is better than the Dr. Scholl's inserts in the drug store and way less expensive than in a specialty store. I plan to get more so I don't have to keep switching them from one pair of shoes to another.

I have worn arch support orthotics for decades now and continue to use them especially in my cross trainers when running, as well in my daily-use shoes. These are easy to size correctly,to order and are received promptly. I have tried professionally designed and manufactured products which are very expensive. These are every bit as good and much easier to obtain. I appreciate your service.

I have been using this product since they launched years ago and I swear buy it! I have purchased 4 sets over the years. Moving caused me to loose them so I just buy them again. They last long and save me so much pain. I can walk where ever i want! Its not going to allow you to walk for days but you can certainly get through your day! I have flat feet and would cry and cringe at walking through a Texas sized Ikea before I had them. I have not figured out how to wear them with sandels so I typically skip that or limit it. I have no arch at all and have always had flat feet. My mom spent over $700 for custom molds for arch supports when I was in High school and someone stole my shoes with them inside and I was out of luck! But then I found these and they changed my life! THANK YOU!
